We are delighted to share the IEB examinations results of the St David’s Marist Inanda Matric Class of 2024 with you and ask you to join us in congratulating them on their remarkable achievements. These results are easily on a par with the best ever and this group of 148 young men have crowned what was an incredible year of excellence and impact with a stunning set of marks, achieving an exceptional 444 distinctions across 20 subjects. 

Today we were privileged to have some very special visitors to both our campuses. From the Marist Institute in Rome were Br Luis Carlos Gutiérrez, Vicar General and Br Jorge Gaio, Econome General. They were accompanied by Br Emmanuel Mwanalirenji, Provincial of Southern Africa.

On Wednesday the 9th of October we hosted our annual Prize Giving Ceremony where the new Leadership for 2025 was announced.

We are truly thankful for the beautiful philanthropic support that has continued from our St David’s community and beyond in the first five months of this year, in support of so many aspects of St David’s and the two physical campuses. St David’s is a specialist in boys’ education and your support allows us to support St David’s in continuing to offer a quality values-based education grounded in the Marist way.

The College gentlemen of St David's Marist Inanda continue to live up to the school motto and exemplify the Marist dedication to excellence in all we do and the value of love of work. 

An essential part of the mission and vision of St David's Marist Inanda is our commitment to the professional development of all our staff, and our dedication to those entrusted in our care. In line with this, we welcomed Luke Lamprecht and Robyn Vorster on Monday, 6 May, to present a workshop on Child Safeguarding. This workshop was highly valuable, and we as a school acknowledge the importance of continuing to ensure that our school is a safe environment for all.

It is the end of a particularly busy and rewarding term. I look back at a time where all our boys matured further, a time in which they were challenged to grow, to find their personal passions and to have fun in the sporting and cultural spaces while learning academically. It was a time of developing further the love of ‘work’ and the commitment to serving others that we know will define their characters in their adult lives. Whether a boy is in Grade 00 or Grade 12, and on the Sandton Campus or Alexandra Campus, he has completed the next step on his Marist journey.
