The 2026 Independent Schools Rugby Festival, brought to you by Absa, drew to a close on Wednesday with the 80th game starting exactly at its scheduled time, which was quite remarkable, given the challenges of matches across four age groups, on five fields, over four playing days.

Four under-18 teams - St Andrew’s School, Michaelhouse, St John’s College and St Stithians College will go into Wednesday’s final day of the 2026 Independent Schools Rugby Festival, brought to you by Absa, with two wins out of two.

While the under-14s, 15s and 18s took a break on Sunday at the 2026 ISRF, brought to you by Absa, the under-13 teams had their chance to shine, with five games taking place up on the St David’s Marist Inanda Prep

The 2026 Independent Schools Rugby Festival (ISRF), brought to you by Absa, kicked off in chilly early morning conditions at St David’s Marist Inanda on Saturday. More than 1200 players and 300 coaches were in action with, for the first time, the prep festival and all three college age categories: U14, U15 and U17 taking place at the same venue. 

Bringing together pastoral leaders and educators, the symposium provided a valuable platform to exchange ideas, strengthen professional networks, and explore innovative approaches to student wellbeing, character formation and leadership development...

There are few traditions more cherished at St David's Marist Inanda than the annual return of our Old Boys. Each year, generations of Old Boys make their way back through the familiar gates of the school that helped shape their character, forge lifelong friendships and instil the Marist values that continue to guide them long after graduation.

We are delighted to announce the return of the Team St David’s Inanda Pandas!  The St David’s Marist Foundation is registered as a 2026 Ride for a Purpose Charity Team for this year’s Ride Joburg Cycle Challenge, taking place on Sunday 22 November 2026. 

St David’s Marist Inanda was privileged to welcome Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe and her son, Kabelo Motsepe, to the St David’s Marist Inanda Alexandra Campus on Friday, 22 May 2026, at the invitation of Headmaster Lewis Manthata.
