Term 1 brings renewed opportunities in academics, culture, and sports. We are excited to be back on the sports field and in the music and art spaces. Thanks to Mr Makola and his team of coaches and teachers (JP & SP) for putting together a busy term of sporting and cultural activities.

Let's make 2024 a year of personal and professional growth. Embrace discomfort as it opens doors to new opportunities and enriching experiences. Slow down, savour the moments, and intentionally acknowledge those around you. Remember, your actions speak louder than words; we must model the behaviour and body language we want to see.

We are proud to announce the IEB Matric Results for the Class of 2023, headlined again by a 100% pass rate with a 95% bachelor degree pass rate and a total of 274 distinctions within the group.

We are pleased to share a celebration and reflection as we congratulate our Matric Class of 2023 on their achievements and reaching the milestone of completing their College Journey.

From the Community Engagement and Outreach portfolio, we would like to extend a big thank you to the St David’s Marist Inanda Community for making 2023 a year of impact.

This term has been a hub of activity, featuring engaging tours, vibrant cultural events, and rigorous academic commitments across all grades. The Grade 7s have been diligently assessed through continuous skills-based activities and content reviews. 

December has a particular feel about it – and the anticipation of the Advent season and the excitement of Christmas never gets old. It is also a time of reflection and gratitude for those many blessings we have received through the year.

On behalf of the Board of Governors, I wish to thank each member of the St David’s community for their support for St David’s Marist Inanda in 2023. It is a pleasure and privilege to serve as Chair of the Board at this fine institution, and we recognise the many people that contribute to making it such – staff, parents, boys, alumni, and friends of St David’s.
