The first Conversation Assembly of 2022 was held on the morning of Friday, 25 March, with the focus of 'The Role of Elite Institutions in Facilitating Social Change'

The Holy season of Lent began on the 2nd of March and was commemorated through a whole school Mass, and the Marist community were given the opportunity to receive Communion and ashes to mark this special day.

On Tuesday, 1 March, St David's commemorated Shrove Tuesday with the 8th annual Inter-House Pancake Race, which was won by Osmond.

On Thursday, 24 February, the St David's Marist Inanda campus was overrun with excitement and merriment, before breaking up for midterm. Our students enjoyed a wonderful day of friendly competition with an Inter-House Tug-O-War, supporting community initiatives through the Spray/Shavathon and SANBS Blood Drive, and testing their general knowledge with an Inter-House Quiz.

The annual inter-house swimming gala was held on the 14th of January, and The Bishops emerged victorious as the winners of the first inter-house competition of 2022.

On Wednesday, October 27th, a number of our Matrics made their final visit to the place where their Marist journey began, at Mini-Marist, in a tradition that has come to be known as the 'Survivor's Tea'. 

The annual Montagne Day Mass was held on Wednesday 27 October, to commemorate the life of Jean-Baptiste Montagne and honour his role in St Marcellin Champagnat's realisation of his life's calling to provide education and spiritual teaching to even the poorest of society.
