The 9th annual Pancake Race was held on 21 February in commemoration of Shrove Tuesday, with the Plaatje boys of the College winning the coveted Pancake Race Trophy Pan.

We celebrated the academic successes of our College students at an Academic Awards Evening, held on the evening of Thursday, 2 February, with Academic Full-Colours and Half-Colours being awarded to nearly 50 of our College students. 2 new General Honours blazers were awarded and 2019's Head of School, Malaika Gantsho, addressed the students and presented the awards.

St David's Marist Inanda's involvement in the inter-schools Tour de Maths competition got off to a strong start this year, with two of our College students, Max Croll and Warwick Bradford, taking first place in the first leg of the competition for 2023.

The Gauteng Canoe Union held their 2021/2022 season awards evening on the 21st of January, with 8 of our current students and one alumnus receiving prestigious awards throughout the evening. We congratulate each of these sportsman on their outstanding achievements.

The gentlemen of St David's Marist Inanda have partnered with MC Weiler Primary School to help ensure that young girls remain in school by committing to collect and deliver sanitary products to the school each month.

Congratulations to the Matric Class of 2022 for their outstanding achievements in the IEB examinations. The class boasts a 100% pass rate and attained 278 distinctions in a group of 143 candidates, with sixteen of our boys achieving a 'full house' of distinctions (7 or more subjects above 80%).

The annual Homecoming Basketball game between Old Boys and the 1st team took place on Saturday, the 14th of January, and after a tightly contested match-up, the Old Boys side managed to secure a win, with a final score of 38-35.
