Christmas Giving Campaign
As the year end approaches and we prepare to celebrate Christmas - a season of the celebration of the greatest Gift to our world - we are reminded of the importance of gifts which profoundly impact the lives of others. Throughout the years we have been able to see the immeasurable impact that the contributions from our St David’s donors and community have made in the lives of the boys that the Foundation has been privileged to be able to support. It is thanks to this support that the lives of numerous boys continue to be changed in the most beautiful of ways.
The birth of our Saviour reminds us of the difference the kindness of a stranger can make. It shows us what happens when we open our hearts to one another and choose to help. Your contribution and gift through the St David’s Marist Foundation makes possible the St David’s education of a boy for whom this previously would have been an unattainable dream. St Marcellin Champagnat, through the founding and establishment of the Marist brothers, showed us the power of education and it is through his belief and legacy that today the Foundation, with your help, is able to assist in providing access to education.
This Christmas we invite you to join us in making a Marist education possible by making a donation to either of these funds through the St David’s Marist Foundation:
- Donate to the Father Bernard Brewer SJ Bursary Fund
Father Bernard Brewer SJ was the Chaplain of St David’s for many years, and the Bursary Fund was established in his remembrance when he passed away. This is the main Bursary Fund of the St David’s Marist Foundation.
- Donate to the St David’s Marist Foundation Discretionary Fund
Donations to this fund will be utilised towards development projects for the Sandton and the Alexandra campuses.
Every donation will make a significant impact. Make a donation of any amount (choose from one of the 2025 Christmas Giving options) in your name, or as a gift donation for a family member or loved one. All donations will receive a Certificate of Appreciation, and qualify for a Section 18A tax certificate for tax rebate purposes.
