Pre School Prattle 1 February 2013

FROM THE HOD

Please remember that this is the last week you will be getting The Prattle in hardcopy.  If you are not receiving it via e-mail or are unable to access it, please talk to Alida.

I want to thank each and every one of you that made the effort to come to the cocktail evening last night.   We have never had so many parents attend!   I hope that you enjoyed the evening, found some new friends as well as finding it informative.   As I was walking to my car with the other teachers, one of them said, “We really have lovely parents this year!” and I agree!  I thoroughly enjoyed chatting to you all and appreciate your responsiveness and how friendly you all were.

 An update on Nicola

Nicola came out of hospital yesterday.   She had a large abscess inside her kidney.   She is out of pain now and is slowly gaining her strength back.   She hopes to be back at school again on Monday.

 swimming

GRADE O SWIMMING  The Grade 0 boys will be swimming every Friday in their PE period.   Please let them wear their swimming costume (and it must be a St David’s costume) under their shorts and have a towel and undies in their bags.   These can be put into a plastic packet so that the wet towel can go in after swimming.  The boys are allowed to wear goggles but no arm bands.
