The St David’s Marist Inanda Foundation is a registered Trust (No: IT4826/06) and PBO (No: 930023385) and was founded in 2006 to ensure the long-term sustainability of St David’s Marist Inanda.  The Foundation celebrates its 12th year of existence in 2018.

The Foundation, based on the Advancement model used successfully in many overseas schools, as well as local universities, has as its primary aim the identification of opportunities for growth and development for St David’s.  This includes full engagement with community and society in general in order to support St David’s vision, mission and strategic objectives and to benefit those engaged with.

In the immediate term the Foundation has the responsibility to ensure that children from financially disempowered communities also have the opportunity of a St David’s education and to share in the Marist vision.

St David’s, at its Marist core, has a very strong social development ethos and finding ways to maximise our impact on society remains a priority.

The Symbol for the Foundation is Wheat, taken from the St David’s Marist Inanda Crest, where growth and prosperity are symbolised by wheat stalks.

In order for the Foundation to continue and flourish, we rely on the continued generosity of donors, individuals and organisations who identify with our vision and values and wish to partner with us.
